National Day Performance June 6, 2024!

At Torekällberget in Södertälje, the national day was celebrated with over 3,700 visitors. Tommy Karlsson and I were stationed at Råbygården, where we played and talked about the psalmodikon. Over 100 people came in to listen, chat, ask questions, and try playing our boxes. We were busy from 11 AM to 4 PM with interested people of all ages. At one point, the cottage was full of people, and a little nine-month-old girl sat on her mother's lap, tired and not very content with her surroundings. Then we played "Nocturne" by Evert Taube. We played calmly and quietly, and the last verses we played softer and softer. And when we finished, the little girl was sound asleep in her mother's arms. The psalmodikon is a fantastic instrument in all its simplicity... A wonderful day with lots of music and many pleasant people. Benn Roos
