Spelmansbyk June 17, 2023!
On Saturday, June 17, En Sträng was invited to play at a "spelmansbyk" at the Hagalund Laundry Museum by Lake Alby in Vårby outside Stockholm. Here, a family ran a laundry service and washed the city dwellers' laundry from 1905 until it closed in the 1920s. Lots of music at a fun and pleasant museum down by the water. We contributed with psalmodikon playing and talks about our boxes - and good coffee as payment.
