Winkjer Psalmodikon

This Psalmodikon is now owned by Floyd Foslien of Hudson, WI. It belonged to his great-grandmother, Gurine Winkjer, who brought it with her when she immigrated, as a young girl, from Trondheim, Norway in the 1860's. She played the Psalmodikon until her death in 1917. It was put away in storage for many years and eventually given to her son and his wife, Nola, who played it until 1995 when it was then sold at a family auction and purchased by Floyd.
